Christoph Stäubli is senior partner in the Corporate & Commercial Team of Walder Wyss. He advises privately held or listed national and international companies regarding their establishment, expansion or restructuring projects as well as to their acquisitions and divestments. His practice includes corporate, corporate finance and restructuring work as well as insolvency with special emphasis on cross-border aspects. He has also longstanding experience in international contracts and in coaching of transactional legal teams.
Born in 1949, Christoph Stäubli was educated at the Universities of Berne, St. Gall and Zurich (lic. oec. HSG 1973, lic. iur. 1976) and at the Georgetown University Law Center (M.C.L. 1980). He has prior working experience as referee for composition proceedings at the District Court of Zurich and as foreign associate in a New York law firm. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Insolvency Institute, Toronto/Canada and a member of the Board of the Chapter Doing Business in Switzerland of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce.
Christoph Stäubli speaks German, English and French. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
