Elisabeth Moskric is a counsel in the firm’s Corporate Finance & Capital Markets group. Her preferred areas of practice include banking, finance, corporate and commercial law. Another focus of Elisabeth Moskric is real estate law, where she regularly advises international clients regarding all aspects of acquisition and sale as well as financing and refinancing of Swiss real estate.

Born in 1973, Elisabeth Moskric was educated at Zurich University (lic. iur. 1999, Dr. iur. 2003). She published a doctoral thesis on the subject of the lombard loan. She has working experience as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. D. Zobl at Zurich University and as a law clerk at the District Court of Hinwil/ZH as well as a secondee in the legal department of a major Swiss private bank.

Elisabeth Moskric speaks German, English and French. She is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.

SCOTT acquires Sheppard Business

On 4 December 2015 SCOTT Corporation SA, Givisiez, acquired the wholesaling and retailing of bicycles, parts, accessories and apparel business of Australia and New Zealand based Sheppard Industries. The transaction was structured as purchase of assets by two newly established companies, Sheppard Cycles Australia Pty Ltd and Sheppard Cycles New Zealand Limited, both in which SCOTT holds the vast majority of shares.
 
Walder Wyss acted as Swiss legal advisor to SCOTT. The Walder Wyss team was led by Lucas Hänni (Counsel, Corporate/M&A) and further included Markus Vischer (Partner, Corporate/M&A), Samuel Dürr (Partner, Tax) and Elisabeth Moskric (Counsel, Banking Finance).


Arval completes Acquisition of GE Capital Fleet Services in Europe

Arval, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, completed the acquisition of GE Capital's European fleet services business. With this acquisition, Arval becomes number one in Europe in full service multi-brand vehicle leasing. The scope of the transaction included more than 160,000 vehicles in 12 European countries, with total vehicles assets amounting to around EUR 2.4 billion. The deal is part of a global transaction in which Element Financial, Arval's strategic partner in North America, acquired GE Capital Fleet Services’ businesses in the United States, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. As a result, the Element-Arval Global Alliance now becomes a global leader with a fleet of more than 3 million vehicles in 47 countries.

Walder Wyss advised Arval in this transaction as to all matters of Swiss law. Berghoff: Cross-Border Transfer of Assets

Berghoff Mechanical Engineering AG transferred certain assets by a cross-border transfer of assets to Berghoff Property GmbH, Luxemburg.

Walder Wyss advised on this transaction. The Walder Wyss Team was led by Urs P. Blackstone To Acquire Real Estate Assets from GE Capital

Walder Wyss is assisting Simpson Thacher and Blackstone Group LP (NYSE: BX) with respect to the Swiss part of the announced acquisition of assets of GE Capital Real Estate in a transaction valued at approximately $23 billion globally. Blackstone is a global leader in real estate investing. Blackstone’s real estate business was founded in 1991 and has approximately $81 billion in investor capital under management.  Blackstone’s real estate portfolio includes hotel, office, retail, industrial and residential properties in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America.  

The Walder Wyss team included Johannes A. Bürgi (Partner, Real Estate), Elisabeth Moskric (Counsel, Real Estate), Tervel Stoyanov (Associate, Real Estate) and Valentin Wiesner (Trainee). Certain notarial services were provided by Christine Beutler (Managing Associate, Notary).


Walder Wyss advises HSH Nordbank AG on a securitisation transaction of trade receivables originated in Germany, Sweden and Switzerland

Alongside with Clifford Chance Frankfurt (lead) and Advokatfirman Vinge, Walder Wyss has advised HSH Nordbank AG on the SME securitisation of trade receivables acquired in Germany, Sweden and Switzerland by ABS Global Factoring AG from local originators via Smart Fact S.A., a securitisation company in Luxembourg.

In the context of this transaction, German and Swiss trade receivables were transferred via a German factoring company to Smart Fact S.A. Swedish trade receivables were transferred via a Swedish factoring company to Smart Fact S.A. Following similar purchases, this transaction was another successful expansion of the securitisation refinancing platform for ABS Global Factoring AG through Smart Fact S.A.

Walder Wyss advised on all Swiss legal and Swiss tax aspects of the transaction. The Walder Wyss team was led by Johannes A.
