Before joining Walder Wyss in 2012, she gained work experience as an intern at the Swiss embassy in Stockholm and as a trainee at a court of first instance, a law office in Berne and the legal office of the department of economics of the canton of Berne.

Acquisition and Refinancing of Boost Holding Ltd.

On 31 July 2015, Cleanwood First Ltd. acquired from the Swiss private equity company Invision its participation in Boost Holding Ltd. Cleanwood First Ltd. is an investment vehicle of the entrepreneur Michael Reinwald. The Boost Group is a leading provider of point-of-sale marketing services and loyalty programs with 260 employees, activities in sixteen countries and yearly revenues of more than EUR 100 m.

Walder Wyss acted as legal advisor to Cleanwood First Ltd. on the M&A transaction and to Boost Holding AG on its refinancing. The team was led by Reto Vonzun (M&A, Partner) and Luc Defferrard (Banking Finance, Partner) and further included Robert von Rosen (M&A, Managing Associate), Martina Nüesch (Banking Finance, Associate), Dan Schmelzer (Banking Finance, Associate) and Manuel Mohler (Notarial Services, Associate). In the course of this transaction, Reto Vonzun was also elected to the Board of Directors of Cleanwood First Ltd. and of Boost Holding Ltd.


Mobiliar establishes investment management company

Swiss Mobiliar Asset Management Ltd. has received the license as investment management company from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). As of spring 2013, Swiss Mobiliar Asset Management Ltd. intends to launch a Swiss real property fund for qualified investors. In addition, Swiss Mobiliar Asset Management Ltd. will assume the fund management of the MobiFonds 3a fund and engage in the repatriation of the fund management activities from Luxembourg to Switzerland with respect to MobiFonds Select 20, 50 and 90 to be effected presumably by mid 2013.

Walder Wyss acts as legal counsel to Swiss Mobiliar Asset Management Ltd. on the reorganization of the investment fund business. The Walder Wyss team is led by Markus Pfenninger (Partner, Banking Finance) and includes Maurus Winzap (Partner, Tax), Helen Renggli (Associate, Banking Finance) and Martina Nüesch (Associate, Banking Finance).


Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd. acquires APAG Holding AG

Walder Wyss advised Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd., an Indian company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India, in all legal and certain tax aspects in connection with the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of APAG Holding AG, a Swiss holding company with subsidiaries in Switzerland and the Czech Republic. The purchase of 90% of the share capital was consummated on 2 May 2012, the closing of the purchase of the remaining 10% will take place in 2014.
