Samuel Klaus is an associate in the Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Competition Team (IPIT). His preferred areas of practice include technology, telecom, energy, competition and procurement law, with an emphasis on infrastructure and network markets, new media and information technology. He advises clients in legal aspects regarding contract law, intellectual property law, data protection law and corporate commercial law.
Born in 1976, Samuel Klaus was educated at the Universities of Zurich (lic. iur. 2002, Dr. iur. 2009) and KU Leuven (Belgium). He has working experience as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Zurich, as judicial secretary at the District Court of Zurich and as legal counsel for a large technology consulting company as well as a large public utility company in the energy sector.
Samuel Klaus speaks German, English and French. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
