Theres Oertli is an associate in the Corporate & Commercial Team. Her main areas of practice include private and public employment law, she advises clients and she represents parties before courts and authorities. She also advises clients in contract, corporate and commercial law as well as in social security law. She focuses on employment law issues for instance in case of outsourcing, company formation, but also restructuring and M&A.

Born in 1974, Theres Oertli was educated at the universities of Fribourg (lic. iur. 1999) and Luzern (Dr. iur. 2004; doctoral thesis on liquidated damages clauses). Before joining Walder Wyss she worked several years as a law clerk at the labour court of Zurich.

Theres Oertli speaks German, English and French. She is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
