Luca Di Pietro works as an associate in our Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Department at Walder Wyss in Geneva. He assists clients in all types of contractual and commercial disputes, as well as in criminal proceedings. He represents both companies and individuals before state courts (civil and criminal) and arbitral tribunals. His expertise includes namely contract law, commercial law, asset recovery, white-collar crime, and international mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.

Luca Di Pietro studied at the University of Geneva, where he obtained a Bachelor of Law [2019], the Certificate in Transnational Law [2021], and a Master of Law [2022]. He completed his final semester of the Master at the Jackman Faculty of Law of the University of Toronto. He then obtained the Certificate of Advanced Legal Studies (École d’avocature) at the University of Geneva [2022]. Luca Di Pietro subsequently completed his traineeship with a reputed Geneva law firm before being admitted to the Bar in 2024. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, he worked as an associate in the law firm where he completed his traineeship.

During his traineeship, Luca Di Pietro contributed to the development of the Geneva Bar Association’s podcast [PodLex]. He also took part in the 2023 edition of the Michel Nançoz Public Speaking Competition, acting as counsel for the Queen of the Night from The Magic Flute.

Luca Di Pietro works in French, English, and Spanish. He also has a passive knowledge of German and Italian. Admitted to the Geneva Bar, he is authorised to practise before all Swiss courts. He is a member of the Geneva Bar Association.
