We believe in the power of collaboration to advance the legal profession and address societal challenges. By working with academic institutions, legal tech innovators, and industry partners, we contribute to the evolution of law through knowledge-sharing and digital transformation. We invest in new solutions that improve legal accessibility, efficiency, and sustainability, ensuring our profession remains fit for the future.
At Walder Wyss, we champion innovative solutions for sustainable development. Our engagement extends to expert discussions on forward-thinking topics such as innovative finance and the future of food. Through these efforts, we reaffirm our commitment to a legal system that serves not only businesses but also society as a whole.
Academic collaboration driving legal technology innovation
As part of our commitment to fostering innovation through academic partnerships, Walder Wyss collaborated with computer science students from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) during the software engineering project module. This course emphasises agile software development and provides a platform for students to apply their skills in a real-world context. The project group developed an AI powered chatbot tailored for the legal field and designed for internal use at Walder Wyss. The software is currently undergoing testing at ZHAW and is expected to be available for internal use soon. This initiative exemplifies how cross-sector collaboration can drive meaningful innovation in the legal profession while nurturing the next generation of tech-savvy professionals.
Future Food
As part of our “Off the Record” event series, we hosted a thought-provoking evening in November 2023 dedicated to the theme of Future Food. Together with our clients and guests, and guided by pioneering experts, we explored how innovation in food can contribute to reducing our ecological footprint and reshape the way we think about what’s on our plates. The event fostered meaningful dialogue around sustainability, technology, and the future of responsible consumption.
