Organisation & governance

Walder Wyss is a Swiss company limited by shares, headquartered in Zurich. It is fully owned by its partners, who, as shareholders, are responsible for admitting new partners and appointing members to the management board. The formal partners' assembly is chaired by the chairman of the board, who also serves as the managing partner. The firm is structured to ensure efficient decision-making, professional independence and strict regulatory compliance.

We understand responsible business holistically; it is not a separate programme but a core component of our business activities. The board of directors determines the corporate strategy, including the responsible business strategy, which is managed by the Responsible Business Practice Committee, consisting of the managing partner, a partner of the ESG & Sustainability practice group and a member of the back office.
