From October 1, 2013, Walder Wyss will operate an office in Lugano.
The new office will advise on matters related to all areas of business law, with a particular focus on IP/IT, Finance, Corporate, Life Science, Real Estate, Litigation and Arbitration.
Walder Wyss will develop the new branch with its new Partners Stefano Codoni and Davide Jermini. The new Partners will join Walder Wyss with two Associates, Simone Albisetti and Alex Domeniconi. The whole team enjoys an excellent reputation and has already advised many international companies in the financial and corporate fields as well as high net worth individuals.
Stefano Codoni's practice focuses mainly on intellectual property, life science and technology related transactions and litigation. Other areas of work are corporate and commercial law. He was educated at the University of Zurich (lic. iur. 1991) and at the University of London Queen Mary & Westfield College (LL.M. 1995). He has working experience as a District Court law clerk, as Foreign Associate in a leading London law firm and as Associate and Partner in Zurich and Lugano law firms.
Davide Jermini is mainly active in the fields of general banking & finance (including regulatory issues and litigation), corporate and commercial law as well as M&A. He regularly assists Swiss subsidiaries of international groups and banks. Other areas of work are employment law and real estate transactions. He was educated at the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG 1992) and the University of Basel (lic. iur. 1995). He has working experience as an Associate with a global active law firm in Zurich and as Associate and Partner in Zurich and Lugano law firms.
Together with our office in Berne and our well established Groupe Francophone, Walder Wyss will now have a strong presence in all parts of the country and language regions of Switzerland.
