Benno Fischer-Siddiqui is an associate in the Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Competition Team. He advises and represents clients in all kind of intellectual property law matters, with particular focus on trademark, patent, unfair competition and copyright law. He regularly represents clients before courts and government authorities. His practice areas also include IP strategies, drafting and negotiating licensing and software agreements and advising online platforms and app providers in advertising and media law matters.
Benno Fischer-Siddiqui studied law at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland (MLaw, 2014), and the University of Bergen, Norway. He was admitted to the bar in 2017. Before joining Walder Wyss as an attorney, he was a junior associate in the Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Competition Team of Walder Wyss since 2015. Before that he worked as a legal intern in the trademark and legal departments of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.
Benno Fischer-Siddiqui's professional languages are German and English. He also speaks French and Norwegian. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
