Claude Schmid is an associate in the Tax Team of Walder Wyss. His primary field of practice is national and international corporate tax law as well as advising individuals in all tax matters.

Claude Schmid studied at the University of Bern (Master of Law, 2020). During his studies, he worked as a legal assistant in a law firm and as a research assistant at the Institute for Private International Law and Procedural Law at the University of Bern. Before his admission to the bar in 2023, he worked as a trainee lawyer at Walder Wyss and as a junior law clerk at the Regional Court of Berner Jura-Seeland. Prior to rejoining Walder Wyss as an Attorney at Law, he gained work experience as a law clerk at the Regional Court of Bern- Mittelland.

Claude Schmid's professional languages are German and English. He is admitted to the Bar Association of the Canton of Zurich and is authorised to conduct legal proceedings throughout Switzerland.
