Daniel Donauer is a member of the Transactions Team of Walder Wyss and a member of the Finance and Real Estate sub-groups. He mainly deals with health law issues. In this context, he advises and supports his clients in all regulatory matters of health care law, including labour law aspects in the health care sector. This includes, inter alia, food law, distribution and consumer law, liability and insurance law as well as medical law. A particular focus is on supporting producers and suppliers in the market implementation of products and services (food and commodities, pharmaceuticals, travel and tourism services). Outside health care law, he advises on matters relating to rental and condominium law (drafting rental agreements for residential and commercial premises, drafting condominium ownership regulations, procedural enforcement of claims under the law of obligations and claims under property law). He represents his clients before private and public institutions and in counterparty negotiations. Daniel Donauer regularly publishes on the topics mentioned in journals and other publication formats.

Daniel Donauer studied at the University of Berne (MLaw). During his studies he worked as an assistant at the Institute for Private International Law and Procedural Law. Before joining Walder Wyss, he also worked in law firm in the Canton of Solothurn, for the Civil and Criminal Court of First Instance and the Department of Economic Affairs and Internal Affairs of the Canton of Aargau. Subsequently, he worked for one of the leading Swiss commercial law firms in Zurich in the areas of employment, real estate and M&A. He then worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Procedure Law and Swiss Code of Obligations at the Uni-versity of Lucerne, where he wrote a dissertation on condominium management, for which he was awarded a doctorate (Dr. iur.). Daniel Donauer was admitted to the bar in 2016 (RA).

Daniel Donauer works in German and English. He is registered in the attorneys' register of the Canton of Zurich and is authorized to practice in all Switzerland. He is a member of the Zurich Bar Association.

Stenprop sells its real estate portfolio to real estate investment fund Helvetica Swiss Commercial

Walder Wyss advised UK listed Stenprop (www.stenprop.com) in the course of the sale of its real estate portfolio to the real estate investment fund helvetica Swiss Commercial. The 7 properties are situated at good locations in the Greater Zurich Area, Central Switzerland, Greater Basel area, Western Switzerland and Ticino. The transactions closed through sale of assets as well as in the course of a share deal.

Walder Wyss advised Stenprop in all legal matters.
