Elma Berisha is a trainee lawyer in the Lausanne office of Walder Wyss.
Elma Berisha holds a Bachelor of Laws (2010) and a Master of Business Law (2013) from the University of Geneva. During her studies, she completed a Swiss mobility programme at the University of Basel (2010) and Zurich (2012). In addition to her traineeship, Elma Berisha is writing a Ph.D. thesis entitled "Shareholder status in the era of transparency". Until June 2019, Elma Berisha worked as a research and teaching assistant in the Department of Commercial Law at the University of Geneva. In 2018, she was a Visiting Researcher at the University of California (Berkeley). The research fellowship was funded by a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation. She has also worked as a paralegal for a private bank in Geneva.
Elma Berisha works in French and English. She also speaks Albanian, Italian and German.
