Julia Schneider is a trainee lawyer in Basel and studied law at the University of Fribourg, where she studied in both German and French.

She completed the last semester of her master's degree at the University of Paris-Panthéon-Assas in Paris as part of an exchange program.

During her studies, she worked for a legal expenses insurance company and completed short internships at law firms in Basel and Fribourg.
