Mathieu Zufferey is an associate in the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Department of Walder Wyss in Geneva.

Mathieu Zufferey studied at Fribourg University where he obtained a Bachelor of Law in 2011 and a Master of Law in 2013, both bilingual French-German. During his Master, he studied at the CTLS London where he successfully completed the Certificate in Transnational Legal Studies. Mathieu Zufferey then worked as an assistant to Prof. Christiana Fountoulakis at the Chair of Civil law I at Fribourg University. In 2018 Mathieu Zufferey obtained a PhD (summa cum laude) in law from Fribourg University for which he has won the Walther Hug Price 2019 . He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in June 2019, ranked first of his class.

Mathieu Zufferey works in French, English, German and Italian. He is registered with the Geneva Bar. He is a member of the Geneva lawyers’ association as well as of the Association genevoise de droit des affaires (AGDA) and of the International association of lawyers (UIA).
