2 May 2025 – In order to prioritise the individual projects in the DigiSanté programme in terms of content and timing, an industry committee was set up, which began its work on 1 May 2025. The 43 stakeholders of this committee include the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and Swissmedic.

With the DigiSanté programme, the Federal Council and the Parliament aim to promote the digitalisation of the Swiss healthcare system and support high-quality treatment for the benefit of patients. For that goal, the Parliament had approved a commitment credit of CHF 391.7 million in spring 2024. The programme was able to start at the beginning of 2025.
