Meet our new Partner and Counsel

Walder Wyss is pleased to announce the promotion of Iliana Djagova to Partner in the Corporate / M&A Team and Matthias Lötscher to Counsel in the Banking & Finance Team, effective 1 January 2026. Their exceptional expertise, commitment and collaborative spirit exemplify the values that guide our firm.


Iliana Djagova advises on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, growth equity financings, late-stage investments as well as capital markets and public takeover matters. She represents strategic and financial investors and supports companies and shareholders throughout the corporate lifecycle, with a focus on growth and exit transactions.

Matthias Lötscher specialises in financial services law and regulation, including anti-money laundering compliance. He advises financial institutions and service providers on financial instruments and services, with a strong focus on asset management, and collective investment schemes, and assists clients in obtaining FINMA and other regulatory licences.
