Swissmedic has revised its Guidance document on Product information for human medicinal products. Notably, it has revised the sections on undesirable effects and interactions. Guidance on environmental and disposal aspects has also been added. The revised Guidance document applies to newly created product information texts from 1 March 2026 onwards, although ongoing authorisation applications may already take the updated Guidance document into account on a voluntary basis.
