Iryna Nikolayevska is a Foreign Counsel at Walder Wyss. Over the last 20 years she has been advising top management, corporate finance and legal teams of major multinational and Ukrainian companies regarding cross-border M&As, joint ventures, private equity investments, divestitures, assets transfers, restructurings, corporate governance, executive compensation, PPPs, general corporate, commercial and employment matters. Her industry expertise includes agriculture, aviation, banks and financial institutions, chemicals, FMCG, infrastructure, IT, TMT, oil & gas, private equity, pharmaceuticals, real estate, etc.
She also advises clients on internal investigations (in particular, regarding compliance with the cross-border anti-corruption legislation (i.e., FCPA and UKBA)), compliance due diligences, auditing internal compliance programmes, establishing, enhancing and localisation of compliance programmes, anti-money laundering, sanctions and data protection matters, conflict of interest, submission of e-declarations by officials, anti-bribery obligations and duties of executives etc.
In 2005 Iryna graduated from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv and was admitted to bar. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, she occupied a partner position at Kinstellar Ukraine, worked at leading international and Ukrainian law firms and as an in-house counsel.
