Mehmet Civan

Mehmet Civan is working as a trainee lawyer at Walder Wyss in Geneva.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Swiss law (University of Geneva, 2022) as well as a Bachelor's degree in Turkish law (University of Galatasaray, 2021). He completed a bilingual Master's degree at the Faculties of Law of the Universities of Basel and Geneva (2024). As part of his master's studies, he was a member of the team representing the University of Geneva in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Alongside his studies, Mehmet Civan has been actively involved in several civil society organizations working on human rights within UN mechanisms.

He is fluent in French, English, and Turkish (native). He also has good knowledge of German. He is registered in the Geneva Cantonal Register of Trainee Lawyers.
