Pascal Zysset is an attorney and notary in the Bernese Walder Wyss team. His main areas of practice include corporate and contract law as well as financial market regulation. His special focus is on advising startups.

Born in 1986, Pascal was educated at the University of Bern (BLaw 2009; MLaw 2010; Dr. iur. 2017, Professor Walther Hug-Award 2018) and at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LL.M. 2021). Before his admission to the bar in 2013, he was a trainee at a court of first instance, at a leading business law firm in Bern and at the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA in the Enforcement division. He gained further working experience as a teaching and research assistant at the Institute for Economic Law of the University of Bern and at the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA in the Regulation department. Since 2015, he has been teaching Compliance & Corporate Governance at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS) and he was also a lecturer in business law at the University of Bern Law School. He acquired his notary's qualification in Bern in 2019.

Pascal’s professional languages are German and English. He also speaks French. He is registered with the Bern Bar Registry as well as with the Bern Notary’s Registry.
