Acquisition of MEYCO Equipment Business from BASF

19 December 2012 – Walder Wyss advised Atlas Copco, an internationally leading Sweden-based provider of industrial productivity solutions which is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, in legal and tax aspects in connection with the acquisition of the MEYCO Equipment Business from BASF Construction Chemicals Europe AG, Zurich. The MEYCO Equipment Business was acquired by and will be integrated in Switzerland-based Atlas Copco (Schweiz) AG.

The Walder Wyss team was led by Lucas Hänni (Managing Associate, M&A) and further included Ueli Sommer (Partner, Employment), Thomas Müller-Tschumi (Partner, Real Estate), Jan Ole Luuk (Counsel, Tax) and Demian Stauber (Associate, IP).
