7 July 2014 – GF Machining Solutions, a division of SIX Swiss Exchange listed Georg Fischer AG, acquired Liechti Engineering AG, Langnau/BE, a company which is the leading specialist of 5-axis milling machines designed to produce blades and blisks for aircraft engines and power generating turbines. Liechti Group has subsidiaries in the US and China.

Walder Wyss AG acted as legal advisor to Georg Fischer in the transaction.
