Swiss Federal Data Protection Act Revision – Publication of opinions received in the consultation process

28 August 2017 – On 21 December 2016, the Swiss Federal Council published a preliminary draft of the revised Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (DPA) and supplementary documentation (please find our respective news entry here). On the same day, the preliminary draft was opened to public consultation.

The Federal Department of Justice and Police has now published the opinions received in the consultation process on its website:

- Opinions from the cantons

- Opinions from political parties

- Opinions from organisations A-H

- Opinions from organisations I-R

- Opinions from organisations S-Z

- Opinions from private individuals

The draft DPA is expected in the late summer or autumn of 2017.
