$77 million Series E Investment Round of SOPHiA GENETICS

22 January 2019 – SOPHiA GENETICS, a leading Swiss health tech company, closed a $77 million Series E investment round. The round was led by Generation Investment Management, a pioneer of sustainable investing, with offices in London and San Francisco.

Walder Wyss acted as legal advisor to Generation in this transaction. The team was led by Urs P. Gnos (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and further included Christian Lütolf (Associate, Corporate/M&A), Thomas Meister (Partner, Tax), Thomas Müller (Partner, Finance), Alice Vorburger, (Associate, Corporate / M&A), Nadine Mäder (Associate, Employment), Hugh Reeves (Associate, IP/IT) and Letizia Schlegel (Trainee, Corporate / M&A).
