DigiCert acquires QuoVadis

23 January 2019 – Walder Wyss advised DigiCert Inc on its acquisition of the QuoVadis SSL/TLS, PKI technology business for a purchase price of US$ 45m from WISeKey International Holding Ltd (SIX: WIHN).

DigiCert is the world’s leading provider of scalable TLS/SSL, PKI solutions for identity and encryption. The most innovative companies, including 89 percent of Fortune 500 companies and 97 out of the 100 top global banks, choose DigiCert for its expertise in identity and encryption for web servers and Internet of Things devices.

Walder Wyss has advised DigiCert on the Swiss aspects of this transaction. The Walder Wyss team was led by Boris Räber (Managing Associate, Corporate/M&A) and included Mark A.
