Mobile Cryptocurrency Wallet BRD raises USD 15m in a Series B Financing Round from SBI Crypto Investment

3 February 2019 – Breadwinner AG, operator of the mobile cryptocurrency wallet BRD, raised USD 15m in Series B funding from SBI Crypto Investment, a subsidiary of the Tokyo-based financial services company SBI Holdings.

Walder Wyss acted as legal advisor to Breadwinner in this transaction. The team was led by Florian Gunz Niedermann (Corporate/M&A, Partner) and further included Alice Vorburger (Corporate/M&A, Associate), Michael Isler (FinTech, Partner) and Thomas Müller (FinTech, Partner).
