Coronary valve replacement via catheter: Payment obligation is extended

24 June 2020 – Transcatheter-aortic-valve implantation is a minimally invasive alternative to open heart valve replacement surgery. It is now reimbursed by the compulsory health insurance (OKP) also for operations with medium risk. The Federal Department of Home Affairs (FDHA) has made further adjustments to the List of Assets and Objects (MiGeL) as well as the Analysis list (AL).
