Infoniqa acquires Sage Schweiz AG

5 April 2021 – Infoniqa, a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus, acquires Sage Schweiz AG, including the local products Sage Start, Sage 50 Extra and Sage 200 Extra.

Infoniqa is a leading provider of Human Resource (HR) solutions for SMEs in Austria and one of the fastest growing software providers in the DACH region. Infoniqa is part of Warburg Pincus, a leading global private equity firm with an active portfolio of more than 195 companies.

Sage (FTSE: SGE) is the global market leader in technology for managing the finances, operations and employees of small and medium-sized businesses.

Walder Wyss advised Warburg Pincus and Infoniqa on the transaction. The team was led by Alex Nikitine (Corporate/M&A, Partner) and further included Dimitrios Berger (Corporate/M&A, Senior Associate), Hugh Reeves (IP/IT, Managing Associate), Gaurav Bhagwanani (Employment, Associate), Sebastian Wyler (Corporate/M&A, Associate) and Florian Iten (Corporate/M&A, Trainee Lawyer).
