PostFinance and Swissquote launch Banking App Yuh

3 May 2021 – PostFinance and Swissquote announced the launch of their digital banking app “Yuh” this week. Yuh is the result of a joint venture between the two leading providers of online financial services aimed at consistently adopting novel approaches in mobile banking. The solution was developed from scratch and will comprise innovative features not yet available on any other banking app in Switzerland.

Walder Wyss advised PostFinance with respect to the structuring and establishment of the joint venture. The team was co-led by Thomas Müller (Partner, Banking/Finance) and Ramona Wyss (Partner, Transactions/Regulatory) and included Christian Lütolf (Managing Associate, M&A/Corporate), Monique Sturny (Partner, Competition Law), Michael Schmassmann (Associate, Competition Law), Mark Reutter (Partner, TMT/Data Protection), Lena Götzinger (Associate, TMT/Data Protection), Jan Ole Luuk (Counsel, Tax), and Valentin Freiermuth (Trainee, Banking/Finance).
