25 November 2021 – This week, the marketing authorisation holder Moderna Switzerland GmbH submitted further data on the booster vaccination of its Covid-19 vaccine (Spikevax®). Swissmedic has evaluated the benefits and risks of booster vaccination for the general adult population and adapted the product information. This means that, with immediate effect, all adults can receive a booster with half the dose at least six months after the second vaccination.
