Covid-19: Adaptation of the Covid certificates to the EU
29 April 2022 – At its meeting on 27 April 2022, the Federal Council decided that Covid certificates for convalescents can in future also be issued on the basis of a positive rapid antigen test. These certificates are valid for 180 days and are internationally recognized. They can be issued retroactively for positive test results from 1 October 2021. The Ordinance on Certificates to Prove Covid-19 Vaccination, Recovery or a Test Result (Covid-19 Certificates Ordinance) will be adapted to the EU regulations accordingly. The amendment will enter into force on 2 May 2022.
