Walder Wyss advises WEG S.A. as Swiss counsel in the acquisition of the industrial electric motors and generators business of the Regal Rexnord Corporation
4 October 2023 – Walder Wyss advises WEG S.A. as Swiss counsel in the USD 400 million acquisition of the industrial electric motors and generators business of the Regal Rexnord Corporation. The transaction encompasses the acquisition of manufacturing sites and commercial branches in 11 countries and a team of approximately 2,800 employees worldwide. The completion of this transaction is contingent upon approvals from governmental authorities in various jurisdictions and is anticipated to close in the latter half of 2024.
