2 February 2024 – The Federal Commission for Addiction and Non-Communicable Disease Prevention is advocating for an improvement in addiction support and care. The experts are analyzing the current situation in Switzerland and formulating recommendations for policymakers, funders, and service providers: Interprofessional collaboration must be urgently enhanced and, notably, funded. More services need to be created for individuals with addiction disorders – particularly for youth and young adults as well as socially disadvantaged individuals.
