9 February 2024 – To further reduce infections in hospitals, the federal government, cantons, and hospitals have jointly developed a roadmap and a catalogue of measures. The goal is to reduce the number of infections to five percent by 2030 and to four percent by 2035. The new national roadmap is part of the National Strategy for Monitoring, Prevention and Control of Healthcare-Associated Infections (NOSO Strategy).
