8 March 2024 – The Executive Council of the Canton of Zurich has decided to suspend the implementation of the new admission restrictions in selected medical specialities in the canton of Zurich for the time being. Accordingly, no cantonal legal basis will be created for the time being. Reform projects on a national level will have an impact on outpatient care, which is why it does not make sense to restrict admissions at this time.
