Helvetia Baloise – CHF 550m inaugural senior bonds

Helvetia Baloise has successfully completed its inaugural senior bond issuance following the merger of Helvetia and Baloise, placing three tranches in an aggregate amount of CHF 550 million on the Swiss capital market. The transaction was met with strong demand from a broad base of investors. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including the potential refinancing of outstanding instruments. The issuance comprised a CHF 150 million tranche maturing in 2028 with a coupon of 0.625%, a CHF 175 million tranche maturing in 2032 with a coupon of 1.125% and a CHF 225 million tranche maturing in 2036 with a coupon of 1.500%.
