Coronavirus: Introduction of minimum requirements for the control of healthcare-associated infections in Switzerland

2 février 2021 – Nationally uniform and scientifically sound standards are a prerequisite for optimising the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections (HAI) in hospitals. With this in mind, Swissnoso has drawn up minimum structural requirements for acute hospitals in collaboration with the specialist societies concerned. The FOPH, the Swiss Conference of Directors of Public Health and H+ recognise the importance of these national minimum requirements for effective control of nosocomial infections and recommend that the cantons and hospitals implement them.
