Federal Council approves collective agreement on diagnostic neuropsychology services

28 mars 2021 – At its meeting on 19 March 2021, the Federal Council approved the tariff agreement that regulates the remuneration of diagnostic neuropsychology services covered by compulsory health insurance (OKP). This agreement was concluded between the tariff partners and will enter into force on 1 April 2021.

The tariff partners estimate the additional costs caused by the diagnostic services of neuropsychologists in practices at around CHF 4 million, i.e. around 0.01 per cent of the total costs of the OKP. The Federal Council requests that the tariff partners inform the FOPH about the cost development and adjust the contract in the event of an undesirable increase. To this end, the term of the contract is limited until the end of 2023. If no adjustments are required, the contract can be extended.
