18 novembre 2021 – The cantons and health insurers should be able to exchange the data of insured persons more easily. At its meeting on 17 November 2021, the Federal Council opened the consultation on the corresponding amendment to the Federal Health Insurance Act. The draft provides for the introduction of electronic data exchange between cantons and insurers in a uniform procedure. In addition, another part of the bill includes the consideration of insured persons residing abroad in risk equalisation.
