7 décembre 2021 – Sevensense Robotics AG raised USD 7.7 million in a series A financing round, led by ABB Technology Ventures and with participation of certain existing investors. Sevensense Robotics AG, founded in 2018, is a spin-off from ETH Zurich and offers industry-grade 3D Visual SLAM localization and navigation solutions for all kinds of autonomous service machines, from forklifts to professional cleaning machines. As part of the transaction, ABB is entering into a strategic partnership with Sevensense Robotics AG to enhance ABB’s new autonomous mobile robotics offering with artificial intelligence and 3D vision mapping technology.

Walder Wyss AG, whose startup-desk supported Sevensense Robotics AG since its incorporation, advised Sevensense Robotics AG also on all legal aspects of this financing round. The team was led by Florian Gunz Niedermann (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and further included Timon Nydegger (Associate, Corporate/M&A), Livia Häberli (Trainee, Corporate/M&A) and Michael Isler (Partner, IP/IT & Data Protection).
