30 mars 2023 – There have been shortages in the drug supply. The FOPH has therefore taken various targeted measures to strengthen the supply in the short term. These include increasingly foregoing justified price reductions so that affordable, essential medicines remain available on the Swiss market. In addition, certain medicines that pharmacies produce themselves because they are not available have been reimbursed by health insurers under certain conditions since the beginning of the year. These adjustments complement the measures that have already been initiated to strengthen the security of supply in the long term.
