27 octobre 2023 – The Federal Council decided at its meeting on 25 October 2023 to implement measures from the 1st cost containment package on 1 January 2024. With the introduction of cost monitoring in the tariff agreements, service providers and insurers will be obliged to provide measures to control costs if they rise excessively. In addition, the right of pharmacists to dispense low-cost medicinal products will be specified. Likewise, a right of appeal for insurance associations in cantonal hospital planning will be introduced.
