7. Oktober 2020 – In a recent decision, the Federal Administrative Court held that treatment recommendations of the Swiss Society for Anxiety and Depression (SGAD) and the Swiss Society for Biological Psychiatry (SGBP) cannot be used for the therapeutic cross comparison (TQV). Instead, the TQV must be based solely on the SmPC.

The Court drew its own conclusion based thereupon and held neither BAG’s nor the view of the appellant to be materially correct.

The decision is being appealed.
