23. Januar 2022 – At its meeting on 12 January 2022, the Federal Council decided to implement the nursing initiative in two stages. The proposals for a training offensive and direct billing will be reintroduced quickly and without a new consultation. These elements were already included in the indirect counter-proposal to the initiative. On the other hand, the implementation of working conditions that meet the requirements and appropriate remuneration need more time.
