18. Februar 2022 – Federal Councilor Alain Berset and the Albanian Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Delina Ibrahimaj, met in Tirana to sign a social security agreement between Switzerland and Albania. The ministers discussed the social protection during the COVID pandemic, as well as the challenges facing their national pension systems. The Federal Councilor also met with the Albanian health minister Ogerta Manastirliu to discuss the efforts to tackle the pandemic and vaccination roll-out.
