17. Februar 2023 – The Federal Council wants to further increase patient safety in transplantation medicine with a comprehensive vigilance system and optimize enforcement. In addition, the legal basis for crossover living donations is to be anchored in the Federal Act on the Transplantation of Organs, Tissues and Cells (Transplantation Act). The Federal Council adopted the dispatch on the amendment of the Transplantation Act for the attention of parliament at its meeting on 15 February 2023.
