Nuance Communications acquires SVOX

15 June 2011 – On June 16, 2011, NASDAQ listed Nuance Communications, Inc., a leading speech-recognition software maker with headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts, successfully closed the acquisition of Zurich based SVOX AG, a provider of voice solutions for in-car systems and consumer electronics. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Walder Wyss team advised the sellers and included among other Luc Defferrard (Partner, M&A), Urs P. Gnos (Partner, M&A), Martin Busenhart (Partner, Tax), Markus R. Frick (Partner, IP), Lukas Wyss (Managing Associate), Hubertus Hillerström (Managing Associate), Simon Kehl (Associate) and David Hadad (Trainee).
