12 February 2013 – Warranty & Indemnity Insurance in M&A Transaction

Warranty & indemnity insurances in M&A transactions are relatively common abroad. Recently such an insurance policy was also written in Switzerland. The policy was issued at the request of the sellers and is most probably one of the first of its kind in Switzerland.

Walder Wyss advised the insurance company in this transaction. The team was headed by Markus Vischer (Partner, M&A) and also included Markus Pfenninger (Partner, Insurance Law), Thomas Meister (Partner, Tax) and Lucas Hänni (Managing Associate, M&A).
