Novadaq aquires Aïmago SA

23 April 2014 – Novadaq Technologies Inc., Canada (NASDAQ: NVDQ, TSX: NDQ), the leading developer and provider of imaging solutions for use in surgical and diagnostic procedures, acquired all shares in Aïmago SA, Switzerland, a privately held medical imaging company, founded in 2008 as a spin off from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. Aïmago’s lead product, the EasyLDI Perfusion Camera won the KTI MEDtech award by the Swiss government in 2011 for the best medical device innovation and technology transfer project and has in the meantime been commercially deployed at key opinion leading sites in Europe.


Under the terms of the agreement, Novadaq will pay to Aïmago's shareholders an upfront consideration in cash plus Novadaq stocks. If certain regulatory and commercial milestones are achieved in the future, Novadaq will also pay milestone considerations which may be satisfied in cash or in Novadaq stock at Novadaq's option.
